Herbs, Supplements, Lifestyle Choices….what can a type 1 diabetic do, all things that come to mind, to not make the medication the only base of health….thank you

I have studied holistic health in school and know how to help an adult with dietary changes, supplements and stress reduction. I’m not sure how to look for info on holistic health for infants. Is is safe to give a baby probiotics?
